He is survived by his beloved wife of 6 years, Tonja Sheppard; daughter, Sarah Sheppard; son, Dustin Adams; step children, Kristina Woodham, Samantha Woodham; mother, Barbara (Aubrey) Duncan; brother, Michael D. (Ida) Phillips; one grandchild, Aixa Adams and canine companion, Baxter. Graveside services and interment will be held on Friday, January 3, 2014 at 10:00 AM in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

Rosemary Lins Boyce, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile County, AL, died on Sunday. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Boyce. She is survived by five children, Thomas (Pamela) Boyce, Theola (Greg) Frantum, John (Amy) Boyce, James Boyce and Matthew Webb; two sisters, Doris Ann Richardson and Helen Elizabeth Charlton; four grandchildren, Christopher (Jessica) Boyce, Mallory LaShea Boyce, James Burton Boyce, Jr. and Heather Michelle Boyce; three great grandchildren, Gabriel Mason Boyce, Elijah Owen Boyce and Sophia Elizabeth Lackey and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Dignity's Three Notch Funeral Home on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 2 PM. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5 until 8 PM. Burial will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

Beloved wife, mother, mimi, and friend, Mary Lou Daughtry Loftin passed away on Friday, December 27, 2013, at the age of 86. In her lifetime, she loved to read, sew, sing in the choir, play bridge, work in her yard, and especially loved cooking for her family and friends. She was a wonderful friend, a loving mother and a special grandmother. Mary was spiritually lifted up in her last few months by Rev. Jenni Hendrix, the youth, the choir, and the church members of Spring Hill Avenue United Methodist Church. Mary Lou was born in Hartford, Alabama on February 12, 1927. She graduated from Geneva County High School in 1945 and attended college at Montevallo and Auburn University. In 1949, she graduated from Auburn (API) with an Education degree and married her high school sweetie, Robert Earl Loftin, Sr. Mobile has been her home since 1957. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl Loftin, Sr.; parents, William Oliver Daughtry and Susie Mae Daughtry; and brother, Bill Daughtry (Margraret). She is survived by her loving children, Suzanne Loftin Hellman (Daniel), Robert Earl Loftin, Jr. (Monica), and David Monroe Loftin (Ann); grandchildren, Sean Isaac Hellman, Haley Hellman Genry (Ryan), Robert Miles Loftin, and Emma Kathleen Loftin; other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at Spring Hill Avenue United Methodist Church, located at the corner of Springhill Ave. and Florida St., on Saturday, January 4th from 10:00 a.m. until the 12:00 noon funeral service. Interment will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Bob Loftin, David Loftin, Miles Loftin, Sean Hellman, Ryan Genry, and Jimmy Martin. Lou W. Strickland, age 77, a native and resident of Saraland, Alabama died on Friday, December 27, 2013. She was an active member of Bayou Sara Baptist Church where she sand in the choir and worked with the food ministry. Lou had a deep love for her family and church family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin R. Strickland; son, Kenneth R. Strickland. She is survived by her three sons, Mike (Terry) Strickland, Wendell (Sandra) Strickland, Dwight (Theresa) Strickland; sisters, Janie Savell, Dian (Leon) Cornelson; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Dignity's Saraland Funeral Home. Jack O. Estes a 73 year-old native of West Bend, AL and resident of Citronelle passed away at his home on Saturday, December 28, 2013. He retired from Bowdin Electric after more than 40 years as an electrician. Mr. Estes loved watching football and enjoyed deer hunting. He will always be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor. Mr. Estes was preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra Estes; parents, Alan W. Estes and Mary Stringer Estes; brothers, Robert, Alvin, Alton, and Wylie Estes; and sisters, Margaret Estes and Mary Talmas Lambeth. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Estes; daughter, Lorie Wilkinson (Ronnie); grandchildren, Lauren Wilkinson and Hunter Wilkinson; great-grandchildren, Rylann Wilkinson and Maddix Wilkinson; siblings, Sarah Snider, Leslie Estes (Stephanie), Adaline Covington (Ray), and Mack Estes (Tammy); second family, Brian Wells (Jenifer), Charles Lewis, Diana Lewis, as well as Joshua, Charlie, Brayton, and Lawrence; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Dignity's Funeral Home in Saraland on Thursday, January 2, 2014, at 9:30 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 1, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

Lois "Tink" Nelson Klaas – an 89 year-old resident of Mobile passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013. She retired from AT&T as a Supervisor after 42 years of service and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, travelling, going to boats in Biloxi, and loved chocolate. She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Martin Fores Klaas, Jr. Mrs. Klaas is survived by her step-children, Rebecca A. Smith (Raymond), Martin Fores Klaas, III, and Sabrena Louise Correy; four grandchildren, Mary Louise Correy and Jimmy Correy, Austin Lorge, and Lacey Matthews; seven great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held from the chapel of Dignity's Three Notch Funeral Home on Monday, December 30, 2013, at 12 noon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the service hour. Inurnment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

A lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away on December 26,2013. Al was preceded in his death by his wife, Jewel P. Langley. He is survived by Albert (Bert)Langley, Jr.(Katherine May),Atlanta GA; Michael Langley, Grand Bay, Alabama; Patricia Penny Vaughn(Tim),Birmingham Alabama, Karen White(Tim), Morganton NC, grandchildren Tyler White, Cody White, Scott Vaughn and great grandchildren Carson White and Anya Vaughn. Al was an avid bowler for over 60 years and was a strong supporter of the Catholic Church, most recently St. Vincent de Paul. Visitation will be Monday from 5-7pm at Dignity's Three Notch Funeral Home. Burial Mass will be Tuesday morning December 31, 2013 at 10:00am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with burial immediately following at Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations to your church or Skyline bowling lanes for the Children's program are requested.
