Donald Ray “Slug” Bohannon, born on February 1, 1950, died at his residence on January 30, 2015 at the age of 64. He was a native of Kilgore, TX and longtime resident of Mobile, AL. Mr. Bohannon was a veteran of the US Air Force, served in the Vietnam War and was retired after working 30 years in the flooring business. He was preceded in death by his father, Nick Bohannon; his mother, Clara Belle Bodiford Bohannon, both of Monroeville, AL; his sister, Betty Laverne Jones and his brother, Vernon Woodrow Bohannon, both of Mobile, AL. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Elvy Luana Banks Bohannon; his daughter, Shanna Lynn (Ronnie) Estes; his son, Corey Blake Bohannon; three grandchildren, Tyler Austin Bohannon, Kayson Brent Estes, Layna Brooke Estes; his brother, Herbert Madison (Joyce) Bohannon, all of Mobile, AL; many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 12:00 Noon from the Solid Rock Church of God. The family will receive friends at the church Tuesday from 10:00 AM until service time.

Mary Catherine McDonald, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the age of 88. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Paul Darawich and Flossie Beatrice Deas Darawich; her husband, Edward Gordon McDonald, Jr. and her two brothers, Hollis Deas and Thomas Darawich. She was survived by her son, Everett “Rett” Joseph (Gail) McDonald, Sr.; her daughters, Patricia (Thomas) Priest and Pamela (Brian) Hartly; four grandchildren, Everett Joseph (Beka) McDonald, Jr., Casey DeAnn Jackson, Christopher Ryan (Kate) Ferguson and Mitzi Allison Ferguson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held Monday, February 2, 2015 at 12:00 Noon in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

David Lynne Tillman, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL died suddenly Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the age of 63. He was preceded in death by his father, Lenward “Monkey” Franklin Tillman. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Lynn Warren Tillman; his sons, Larry Lynne (Tiffany) Tillman and Christopher Ray (Courtney) Tillman; his mother, Billie Ruth Dendy Tillman; his brothers, Larry (Angie) Tillman and Kenny (Brenda) Tillman; his mother, Billie Ruth Dendy Tillman; his sister, Joan (Tim) Holladay; three granddaughters, Cierra Tillman, Olivia Tillman, Anna Tillman and Avery Tillman expected to be born in February, 2015; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 2, 2015 at 10:00 AM from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, February 1, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

May 11, 1937 - January 27, 2015 Mrs. Betty Geraldine Roberts Walker, age 77, native of Mobile, AL and longtime resident of Saraland, AL, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2015. Mrs. Walker retired from International Paper Company (Bag Pak) after many years of service. She was a faithful member of Gold Leaf Church of God in Satsuma. She loved spending time with her family and friends and her Gracie. Mrs. Walker is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Travis Jones Walker, daughter, Cynthia Darlene Walker, parents Oney and Ruby Lee Adams Roberts, brothers ,Willis, Mack, Happy, Gale, Roy, Raymond Roberts and sister, Jean Higgin. She is survived by her son Randall T. Walker and his wife Cheri Walker, granddaughter, Christina Lee Walker, great-granddaughter Kayleigh Elizabeth Walker, several nieces and nephews and host of friends. Visitation will be held at Dignity's  Funeral Home, Saraland, AL on Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Chapel services will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens, Three Knotch Road, Mobile, AL. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Gold Leaf Church of God Building Fund or The Gideon Foundation.

January 2, 1939 - January 24, 2015 Mrs. Patricia Anne Huneycutt Grandquest, age 76, native of Graysville, AL and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, passed away at her home on Saturday, January 24, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband Dr. Carl M. Grandquest and son Stephen Sanford Grandquest. Mrs. Grandquest served her country honorably in the United States Navy as a Dental Technician. She graduated in 1957 from Minor High School in Graysville before her entry into active duty. After her military service she worked as a dental assistant at the University of Alabama Dental School. While there, she met and married Dr. Carl Grandquest and moved to Mobile, AL. She worked alongside her husband as a dental assistant in his community dental practice until his retirement in 1993. After Dr. Grandquest's death, she resumed her career in real estate which she had pursued before his illness. She was very active for several years in administration for the Mobile County Foster Grandparent's Program before her retirement. Mrs. Grandquest is survived by her daughter Beverly Elaine Grandquest Odom and husband Jay, brother, Charles Huneycutt and wife Kathy of Birmingham, AL, sister-in-law Helen Wilson and husband Jimmy of Jackson, Ms. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jonathan Larry Odom, Dylan Preston Odom, Elizabeth Claire Grandquest and Emily Celeste Grandquest, all of Mobile, AL. Graveside services will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Three Knotch Road, Mobile, AL on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be offered to the Wounded Warrior Project P. O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675 or Mobile County Foster Grandparents Program.

Elbert McCall

March 5, 1916 - January 27, 2015 Elbert (Duke) McCall went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 27, 2015. Duke was born in Oak Grove, Florida on March 5, 1916. Duke was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Voncile McCall. Duke was a longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama and is survived by his children, Patricia Haynes, Judith (Dock) Taylor and Elbert Wayne (Jennifer) McCall. He is also survived by six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson due in April. Duke was an Army WWII veteran who served in the European Campaign from 1941 – 1945. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. The family will greet family and friends at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home from 1 to 2 PM on Saturday, January 31, 2015. Graveside services and interment will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM in The Waters of Life at Mobile Memorial Gardens with full military honors.

William Marsh

William Leo Marsh was born October 2, 1931. He died Saturday, January 24, 2015 surrounded by his family. Mr. Marsh was a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, Al. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Mr. Marsh graduated from Murphy High School Class of 1950. He served in the Navy in the Korean War. He retired from the G.M. & O. (ICG) Railroad, and later worked for the Alabama Cruise Terminal. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo Marsh and Josephine Marsh Crivellari, his brothers, Bing Horton, Joe Marsh, and a sister Delores Woods. Mr. Marsh is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mrs. Katherine Roberts Marsh, and his children, Kathy (John) Arnett, Cindy Salus, Bill (Shirley) Marsh, and Danielle (Greg) Weiskopf. His grandchildren are Scott and Nicholas Johnson, Sam and Jake Salus, Chris and Riley Reaves, and Addison, Will and Luke Weiskopf. His great grandchildren are Nathan, Tyler and Peyton Johnson. Mr. Marsh is also survived by his brother John Crivellari. Visitation will be on Monday evening from 5pm to 7pm at Pine Crest Funeral Home. The Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 10:00 am. Burial will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
