Feb. 2, 1925 -April 28, 2015 Carl E. Carlsen a native of Moss Point, MS and a resident of Stapleton, AL for the last eighteen years went home to be with Our Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday April 28, 2015. Mr. Carlsen was a former resident of Mobile for 72 years. He was a lifelong member of Assembly of God Church and he attended Stapleton Church of God. He was employed by John M. Brining Company Inc. as an Import Specialist. Mr. Carlsen was preceded in death by his wife Allene Elizabeth Carlsen, his parents John and Claudia Carlsen, and brother Jens Carlsen. He is survived by his five daughters Betty Miller of Lima, OH, Jackie Wallace of Grand Bay, AL, Carlene (Patrice) Coudeville, of Stapleton, AL, Sharon (Wesley) Teutsch of Pensacola, FL, and Kathy Carlsen of Birmingham, AL, one sister Lillian Brining-DeBenedetto of Mobile, AL, twelve grandchildren, thirty seven great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Friday May 1, 2015 at 10AM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday April 30, 2015 from 5 until 8pm.

April 30, 2015 Christine D. Covington, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, died on Thursday. She was retired from Canvas Products. Mrs. Covington was preceded in death by her husband, Stova Covington and one daughter, Wanda Covington. She is survived by four children, Wayne (Barbara) Covington, Wayde Covington, Wendell (Cindi) Covington and Wynn (Less) Jones; one brother, Ronnie (Ann) Easley; eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren; two adopted sons, Jeff (Glynanne) Albinger and Brett Matthews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 10 AM. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 5 to 7 PM.

March 31, 1944 - April 29, 2015 Carolyn M. Hall-Williamson - a native and lifelong resident of Mobile County, AL died Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at her residence. Carolyn was the first female police officer to serve on the Saraland and Satsuma Police Departments. She was also the first female fire fighter for the Satsuma Fire Department. She was preceded in death by her parents, O.J. and Marguerite Morgan; one brother Jerry Morgan; and two sisters, Elizabeth Morgan McDuffie and Ilene Morgan Al-Azzeh. Survivors include her husband, Jerry E. Williamson; two children, Laura Michelle Hall and Louis G. (Michelle) Revette; one brother, Jim (Virginia) Morgan; two sisters, Myra (Charles) Raines and Barbara (David) Green; Thirteen grandchildren, Chase Hall, Heather Revette, Taylor Hall, Devon Revette, Olivia Hall, Michaela Lambert, Joely Revette, Jacob Lambert, and Teagan Revette, Breanna Williamson, Braxton Williamson, Ty Granade, And Tori Granade (Lady); four great-grandchildren, Allisa Clements, Brantley Thompson, Brynnah Middleton, and Elijah Larche; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 10:30 A.M. until the 12 Noon funeral service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
