Joseph R. Swann, a native of Isney, AL and a longtime resident of Mobile, died Sunday. He is survived by his wife, Carol Swann; son, Brandon Swann; stepchildren, Tony Boone and JoAnn (Joey) Potts; Christina Slade; seven grandchildren, Seth, Zachary, Caleb, Juliana, Abby, Bella and Henry ''Blinky''. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 2 pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will start at 12:30 pm. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Feb. 17, 1921-Feb. 25, 2016 Juanita Singleton Snowden, a native of Enterprise, AL and resident of Mobile, AL since 1940, died Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the age of 95. She was a member of Dauphin Way Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Aaron Snowden in 2000. Her survivors include two sons, William C. (Lynne) Snowden of Leesburg, FL and Larry (Sue) Snowden of Boca Raton, FL; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.

Charles A. Boggan, a native of Andalusia, AL and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, died Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the age of 87. He was a homebuilder and, in the late 1960's, was named ''Builder of the Year''. He was known for a good personality, a big heart and a love of animals, especially his cats. He was a US Army Veteran, served two years in World War II and received a Purple Heart for his service in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his father, James Solomon Boggan; his mother, Pearl Lee Leonard Boggan; five brothers, Harold, Frank, Carlton, Dalton and Hinton Boggan and his wife, Sue Kennedy Boggan. His survivors include his wife, Dina Jan Williams Boggan; one daughter, Charlotte Boggan O'Connor; his grandchildren, Michael Charles (Wendy) Molumphy, Sr., Bridget Molumphy (Billy) Ashley and Chad Molumphy; his great-grandchildren, John Patrick (Stephanie) Knowles, Jr., Michael C. (Brittney) Molumphy, II, Samantha Molumphy, Lana Molumphy, Leigha Molumphy and Billy Ashley, III. Michael C. Molumphy, Sr., Billy Ashley, Jr., Patrick Knowles, Jr., Patrick Knowles, Sr., Michael C. Molumphy, II (USCG) and John Boggan will serve as pallbearers. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Mrs. Mims was a former queen of a local mystic society and was a lifetime member of VFW Post 49 Auxiliary. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her loving husband, Melvin Douglas Mims; two daughters, Laura M. Bethea and Melvia "Cricket" Mims; a special niece "Chosen Child" Juanita (Kyle) Pitt; grandchildren, Ivy (Crayton) Motes, Ellie Bethea, Aspen, Landon and Grayton Pitt; great granddaughter, Hylan Motes; brothers, Curtis L.
