Nov 9, 1947- Jan 30, 2017 Age 69 of Mobile, AL, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2017 at his home. He graduated from Murphy High School in 1966 and the University of South Alabama in 1970. He served 13 years in the Marine Corps Reserves. He was a financial consultant and later worked for Mike Hook Inc. until retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Sellers; brothers, Bill Sellers and Bob Sellers; sister, Wanda Day. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Angela Lord Sellers; daughter, Katherine Sellers; step daughter, Kimberly Fontenot; sister, Gloria Spotswood; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 12:00 PM with visitation from 11:00 AM until service time.

March 24, 1926 - Jan. 30, 2017 Allen H. "Buddy" Dumas – a 90 year-old native of Pine Hill, AL and resident of Chickasaw passed away at his home on Monday, January 31, 2017. He loved the Lord and his church and enjoyed cooking, hunting, and fishing. He will always be remembered for his love of life. Mr. Dumas was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Dumas, and son, Danny Dumas. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Dorothy Crozier Dumas; daughter, Catherine Dumas Holder (Hancel); daughter-in-law, Robin Dumas; grandchildren, Erik Holder (Roselyn), Andy Holder (Christy), and Meaghan Epler (Charles); step-children, Lisa Crozier Toxey (Danny), Carol Crozier Ellington, and Doug Crozier (Cheryl); step-grandchildren, Clay Pearce (Dina), Robert Crozier, Joy Crisler (Joey), Jenny Kiper (Jamie), and Danielle Guy (Brent); three brothers, Charles, Jim, and Alex Dumas; sister, Ruth Bales; nine great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Thursday, February 2, 2017, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the service hour.

Sylvia June Bridson Burkett was born on March 26, 1942 in Barton, Lancashire, England. She went to be with our Lord on January 27, 2017. She graced the United States of America by becoming a resident of Mobile, AL in 1999. Her father was George Weir Bridson (deceased), and her mother was Ida Noreen Lawson (deceased). She is survived by her husband, Wayne Douglas Burkett Sr.; son, Gary Bridson Daley of Manchester, England; sister, Heather Williams (husband Colin) of Manchester, England; stepchildren Heather Browder, Wayne Burkett Jr., and Kelly Williams along with their respective spouses. She is also survived by 6 wonderful grandchildren, tons of amazing nieces and nephews, and many many friends from both sides of the Atlantic. She was one of the most hospitable, talented, and beautiful women in the world. We would love to have everyone join us at the Tillman's Corner Community Center (5055 Carol Plantation Road, Mobile, AL 36619) immediately following the service to celebrate her life. The Community Center will be open to receive guests starting at 11 am on Saturday morning, February 4th. We are asking for everyone to please bring a covered dish to be shared by all. We would like to thank everyone for their unending support and encouragement in this time.

July 25, 1942 - January 28, 2017, Mrs. Mary Boyd of Mobile, AL entered into rest on Saturday, January 28, 2017, peacefully at her home. She was 74 years old. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 31, 2017, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home-Mobile. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at St.Rose of Lima Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Monsignor Leonardo Guadalquiver will officiate. Mrs. Boyd worked at AT&T and retired after 30 plus years of service. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy A. Boyd, her parents, Joseph and Lena Delery, her siblings, Shirley Fowler, Nancy Delery, Joseph Delery and Louis Delery. Mrs. Boyd is survived by her daughter Michele Dumas (Vincent), son, George Connell III, grandchildren, Megan Hines (Charles), Elizabeth Dumas, Boyd and Matthew Connell, step-grandchildren, Justin and Ross Rountree, great - grandchildren, Sawyer and Charlie Hines, and Peyton. Her sisters, Linda Nichols (Dan), Diane Miller (Bob), Cathy Graham (Don), Cindy Cruthirds (Kenneth), Ida Patterson and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
