, Barbara Crane, Mobile Memorial Gardens CemeteryA chapel service for Barbara Crane will be held at 10:00am on Monday, 11/19/2018 from Funeral Home, followed by a committal service at the grave site.

Barbara “Bobbie” Annette Crane, age 79, died on Tuesday, Nov. 6th in Mobile. She was born on March 21, 1939 in Mobile, Ala. to Edrena McInnis Jones and John Sanford Jones, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, William Burnett Crane Jr. She is survived by her four children – Vicki Gelineau (John), Shari Eickelman (Ron), Wyman Hall (Gina) and Lori DeMouy (Bobby); ten grandchildren – Elizabeth Gelineau, Katherine Gelineau, Laura Eickelman, Chris Eickelman, Cassie Stevens (Will), Tanner Hall, Ashton DeMouy, Amber Jones (Luke), Alex DeMouy (Taylor) and Allyson DeMouy; and two great-grandchildren (Ollie Jones and Charlie Jones). She is also survived by her sisters, Elizabeth “Betty” Crawford (Bill), Shirley Dixon (Sonny), Carole Goldstein (Dennis) and Candy Guy (John), as well as many nieces and nephews. Barbara was a longtime resident of Dauphin Island, a community that she loved and hated to leave after Hurricane Katrina destroyed her island home. Visitation will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal in Mobile beginning at 10AM on Monday, Nov. 19th. Following the visitation, a memorial service will be held at 11AM in the Little Church at St. Paul’s. The burial will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens. The family wishes to thank the team of doctors and nurses at Mobile Infirmary and Providence Hospital Covenant Care. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Barbara’s memory to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
