Katie Beatrice "Bea" Berrong Prewitt age 96, passed away peacefully on Mother's Day, May 10, 2020. She was a life long Member of West End Baptist Church in Mobile AL. Native of Hiawassee, Georgia she is proceeded in death by her parents Cleo E. and Dee Talmadge Berrong, husband of 42 years Johnnie Lee Prewitt Sr. and her sisters Virgina Dare Hendren and Amy Fairy Berrong Black. She is survived by three children, James Wayne "Jimmy" Prewitt Sr. of Mobile, AL , John L. "Johnny" Prewitt Jr. of Larkspur, CA, Toni Dee Prewitt (Mugnier) of Roswell, GA. Three grandchildren James Wayne Prewitt of Mobile, AL, Willam Robert "Robbie" Prewitt, of Mobile, AL and Andrew John "Andy" Prewitt of Larkspur, CA and great grand children Gavin Prewitt, Jenna Prewitt and Morgan Prewitt. Her legacy of grace and dignity will live on hearts of all who knew her. Graveside service at Mobile Memorial Gardens in Tillman's Corner, AL at 11:30 am on Saturday May 16, 2020. Reception to follow the memorial service.
