Betty Jo Tillman Trippe Rockhold passed peacefully in her sleep, Friday, August 7th, 2026. She was 89. She is preceded in death by; her parents, Percy G. Tillman, and Mary Moody Tillman; her husband, Chester D. Rockhold; her son, Charles E. Trippe Jr.; her grandson David Tripper; and her granddaughter, Erienne Elmore. She is survived by; her daughters, Belinda J. Porter, and Beverly J. Elmore, both of Irvington; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren to cherish her memory. We will think of her every time we watch a beautiful sunrise.

Betty Jo's funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 P.M. on August 13th, 2026, at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Her visitation will be held prior to the service from 12 P.M. to 2 P.M. on August 13th, 2026, at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
