Paul J. ''Bobby'' Foley Jr. July 19, 1939 – March 14, 2017 Mr. Foley was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He enjoyed model airplanes and flying RC airplanes. He also enjoyed photography, gardening, fishing and listening to music. He worked at International Paper, Bag Pack and QMS as a security officer. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary K. Foley. Visitation will be held from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM followed by funeral services in the Chapel. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. The family would like to express their thanks to Comfort Care Hospice for their care and service to Mr. Foley and his family.

Lena Joyce Martin – an 82 year-old native of Mobile and resident of Satsuma passed away, Tuesday, March 14, 2017. She retired as a customer service manager for Alabama Power Company after 35 years of service and from Acme Transportation after 15 years of service. She was a former member of Lafitte Baptist Church. Mrs. Martin will be remembered as a remarkable woman and wonderful mother, and will be truly missed beyond words. She was preceded in death by her husband, M.F. Martin, Sr., and parents, C.L. and Edna Criswell. Mrs. Martin is survived by her son, Marion "Bo" Martin (Keeli); grandson, Adrian W. Martin (Caitlyn); brothers, Wayne Criswell (Anne) and Bill Criswell (Judy); sister, Phyllis Porter (Roger); special nephew, Robert Trueblood (Sue); other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 17, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

Etta Mae Tanner Aug 8, 1929 – January 6, 2017 A native of Lucedale, MS and resident of Mobile, AL died on Friday, January 6, 2017 at the age of 87. Mrs. Tanner retired from Mobile Infirmary in 1994 where she was an OR Nurse. She was a member of the Mobile Retired Nurses Association. She was a long time member of Emanuel Baptist Church where she was a member of the Joy Sunday School Class. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas N. Tanner and a grandson, Charles Fitz Morrison. She is survived by her children, Donna (Eric) Fagerholm, Douglas (Lisa) Tanner, Jr and Denny (Connie) Tanner; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held from Emanuel Baptist Church on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 2:00 PM with visitation beginning at 12:00 PM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Robert Earl Davis, Sr., a native of Birmingham, AL and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Friday, October 7, 2016 at the age of 85. Robert was a retired Field Technician for Westinghouse; a US Navy Veteran; member of George U. Potter Masonic Lodge; a Lieutenant with the Tillman's Corner Volunteer Fire Department; and a member of the Alabama Civil Air Patrol. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rillar F. Davis and Mary Elizabeth Eddings Davis; and his brother, Ronald Davis. His survivors include his wife of 65 years, Elizabeth Earldine Lisenby Davis; six children, Robert Earl Davis, Jr., Karen Davis-O'Shea, Stephen Andrew Davis, Randall Alan (Belinda) Davis, Timothy Paul (Teresa) Davis and Cheryl Kimberly Davis (Duane) Walley; his sister, Rose Marie Davis (Delbert) Forrest; 17 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral services, officiated by Rev. Kenneth Dykes, will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. March 6, 2016 Mrs. Mavis L. Werneth, also known as "Ms Hilton"' age 91. A native of Mobile, AL, died on March 6, 2016 in Crystal River, FL. She was a member of Semmes First Baptist Church and the owner/operator of the "Hilton Motel" on Government Blvd. in Mobile from 1957 to 1980. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hilton E. Werneth, Sr., and her daughter Patricia Ann Werneth. She is survived by her children, Hilton Eugene (Dinah) Werneth, Jr., Beth (Milton) Hendry, Becky Werneth, Pamela Myrick and Robert Werneth; seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers include: Roger Werneth, Byron Saucer, Thomas Wiley "TW" Wilkerson, II, Hilton Grant Saucer, Joe Lott, Tige Morris and Melvin Robertson. Visitation and funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016. Visitation from noon until 2 pm at Mobile Memorial gardens Funeral Home, followed by funeral services with Brother Fred Wolfe in chapel at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Hospice, P.O.Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
