Grace Voncile Jarrett, age 85, a resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Jarrett, Sr. and son, Charles F. Jarrett, Jr. She is survived by her son, Michael D. Jarrett (Kate) of Summerdale; five grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren; along with many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Monday, January 2, 2017 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.

James "Jimmy" Leroy Steiner

A chapel service for James Steiner will be held at 12:00pm on Wednesday, 01/04/2017 from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, followed by a committal service at the grave site.

James ''Jimmy'' Leroy Steiner, age 72, a resident of Theodore, AL, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Jimmy retired from Mobile Paint Manufacturing Company after 43 years of service. He could always be found riding his tractor or lawn mower while working in his yard and field. He was an avid Alabama Football fan, loved his family and ''Steiner Lane get-togethers'' which included ''friendly'' games of horseshoes. He also loved his cats and birdwatching. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Linwood Leon Steiner, Sr. and Lillian Holt Steiner; sisters, Dorothy Watts and Ora Lee Weller; brothers, Linwood Leon Steiner, Jr. and Marselle Steiner. His survivors include his sisters, Carol Jean Weller and Linda L. Boswell; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services, officiated by Rev. Larry Steiner, will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

Rosalie "Pete" Boshell

Rosalie ''Pete'' Carter Boshell, a native of Avery, MS and current resident of Chickasaw, AL passed away on December 28, 2016. Born on July 26, 1923, Rosalie was the last of eight siblings. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Calvin C. Boshell; her son, Phillip (Cindy) Boshell; one grandson, Phillip Boshell, II; four great-grandchildren, Kara, Carter and Tyler Boshell and Kaitlyn B. Knowles; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Michael Boshell. Rosalie attended Barton Academy and was a 1942 graduate of Murphy High School. Prior to joining the family business in 1960, she was employed at Brookley Air Force Base and International Paper Company. Easily the perfect hostess and well-dressed lady, Rosalie enjoyed bridge, golf, reading and relaxing at Destin, FL. She also volunteered for the American Red Cross. Rosalie was a longtime member of Chickasaw United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held at Chickasaw United Methodist Church from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, January 3, 2017 with services at 12:00 Noon. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Chickasaw United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 108 Lee Street, Chickasaw, AL 36611. Pallbearers will be Phillip Boshell, II, Carter Boshell, Randy Davis, R. B. Smallwood, Jr., Gary Smallwood and Mike Stringer.

Dec. 2, 1928-Dec. 26, 2016 Charles Lee Walker, a native of Live Oak, FL, former resident of Mobile, AL and current resident of Havana, FL, died Monday, December 26, 2016 at the age of 88. He retired from Walton Construction in Mobile, AL and Leon County Road Department in Tallahassee, FL. He was a member of Crossway Baptist Church in Tallahassee, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dave Wesley Walker and Mary Elizabeth Grimes Robinson; his wife, Jesse Mae Lindsey Walker; his son, Dave Douglas Walker and his daughter-in-law, Laura Allen Walker. His survivors include his daughters, Linda (Lance) Heal, Patricia Ann Walker and Jeraldine (Dan) Nobles; his brother, Floyd (Ethelle) Robinson; grandchildren, Micheal and Corey Heal, Leigh Walker (Robert) Sculley, Larry (Carrie) Nobles, Sonja (Lee) Crow, Cheryl (Mike) Busbin, Dale (Ruth) Nobles; great-grandson, Logan Heal; numerous great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. June 6, 1931 - Dec. 24, 2016 Ralph Wade Orso, Sr. – age 85, born in Whistler, Alabama and a resident of Semmes for many years passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016. Mr. Orso retired from Mobile Tile Co. after more than 40 years of service. He was an avid fisherman regardless of the weather. Mr. Orso was a longtime member of Smithtown Baptist Church where he devoted many hours helping out. He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin J. and Bertha Orso; brother, Howard Orso; and beloved wife of many years, Jewell Dean Yeager Orso. Mr. Orso is survived by his sons, Ralph Wade Orso, Jr. (Deborah) and Russell D. Orso, Sr. (Julia); grandchildren, Jeff Orso (Michelle), Jason Orso, Julie Epperson (Bobby), Lisa Stuckey (Jimmy), Russ Orso, Jr., Deanna Nunn (Thomas), Amber Coggin (Jason), Nikki Marinelli (Sam), David McKinney (Angel), Michelle Morris (Keith), and Melissa McKinney; brothers, James C.
