Jeffrey “Jeff” Darrel Goodman, a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, Al, died Friday, January 10, 2020 at the age of 58. He was a movie buff; loved to read the comics; collected toys and was overall “king of the nerds”. He made the best out of bad situations and found his own happiness in this world. Jeff was unafraid to forge his own path and had the confidence to be completely himself no matter what. He was a friend to all who knew him and will be missed by everyone. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Burl Goodman, Sr. His survivors include his son, Ryan (Christia) Goodman; his mother, Jean Marie Scrimpshire Goodman; brother, Freddie (Deborah) Goodman; sister, Jeannie Goodman; other relatives and many, many friends. He was our strength. He was our inspiration. He was our superman. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 17, 2020 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday morning from 10:00 AM until service time. A chapel service will be held at 12pm on Friday, 01/17/2020 from Mobile Memroial Gardens Funeral Home, followed by a committal service at the grave site.
