Kenneth Karl Jackson, 72, (Kenny) of Vinegar Bend Alabama died suddenly Tuesday, June 16, 2026 in a singular vehicle accident. Kenny was born February 12, 1954. He was preceded in death by his parents Ethel Rogenia (Allen) Jackson and Leo Everett Jackson, Sr.; his brother Leo Everett “Bucky” Jackson, Jr.; grandparents James Kapok “Bud” and Bertha Lee Page Jackson, and his Beloved niece, Ellen Jackson. He is survived by his nephew, Brian Keith and wife Kim Jackson and nieces Aubrey and Lucy Jackson, all of Colorado. Kenny was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He was also a loyal friend to many and will be greatly missed. He retired in 2009 from Armstrong World Industries in Mobile after 25 years at the same plant. He was an avid fan of old western tv shows and movies, loved to barbecue, enjoyed working on his property and taking care of his white german shepherd, Hogan. His passing leaves to mourn his closest, longtime friend, Jerry Harris. Kenny delighted in playfully scolding Jerry quite regularly with his favorite mantra, “Son, do I need to take you to the Woodshed?!”.
