Kimberly Miller - Mobile Memorial Gardens

Kimberly Miller

October 23, 2019
Kimberly Brooke Reynolds Miller, a native of Mobile, died unexpectedly on October 21, 2019, at the age of 44. Known to her family as “Kim,” Brooke attended the University of Mobile, graduating with a degree in nursing. Brooke spent her life in the care of others as a registered nurse for most of her career. The care and support she offered to oncology patients and their families was a light in some of their darkest times. Beginning her career in Mobile, Brooke worked as an oncology nurse at Providence Hospital before her family relocated to Helena, Alabama. There, she continued her care of oncology patients for a short time at UAB before becoming a Nurse Clinician at the Kirklin Clinic at Acton Road in Birmingham. Unable to stay away from her family, Brooke returned to Mobile to work at the USA Mitchell Cancer Institute first as a Clinic Nurse and eventually as Clinical Operations Supervisor. Most recently, she worked as Associate Manager for Clinical Revenue Integrity at USA Health. Brooke loved the sunshine, the beach, and listening to live music. She is survived by her husband of twenty-two years, Timothy James Miller; a son, Christopher Blake Miller, 20; a daughter, Lexie Grace Miller, 11; her parents, Bill and Brenda Reynolds; two sisters, Tracy Reynolds Steiner (Jerome) and Sarah Ellen Reynolds; and a brother William Bradley Reynolds (Jae). She was loved by countless other friends, family, and coworkers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to a preferred church or charity, or to the American Heart Association. Services will be held at Cypress Shores Baptist Church on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 11 am with visitation from 10 am until service time. Interment will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
