Larry Borg - Mobile Memorial Gardens

Larry Borg

December 28, 2018

Larry Michael Borg, age 72, of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018. Larry was born July 20, 1946 in Mobile, Alabama to Emma Victoria Callaway Borg and Harry Theodore Borg, Sr. Larry live his life to the fullest. He believed that honesty, integrity and true values made a person who they were. He loved spending time with family and friends, woodworking, photography, Audubon Society, and Koi Club. Larry taught me to look at the inner beauty of things, whether it was a person or a piece of wood on the side of the road. He taught us to do this in order to bring out the full potential in what they could be. He loved old comedies, watching his great grand children play and his dogs running around. Larry would like to be remembered as a renaissance man. There was nothing he couldn't do specially when it came to woodworking. As I said before, he would see the inner beauty in a piece of wood on the side of the road and would turn it into a piece of art, a useful item for the house or as a gift for someone who was in need. He will always stand out as a man who loved and was loved. A man who had a purpose in so many lives. Larry is survived by his wife of 51 years, Connie Borg; son, Allen (Kathy) Borg; brother, Harry Theodore (Martha) Borg, Jr.; grandchildren, Kyle (Mallory) Wolf and Kayla (Brandon) Anderson; and great-grandchildren, Grayson Wolf, Emma Anderson, and Kennedy Wolf. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Theodore Borg, Sr. and Emma Victoria Callaway Borg. A visitation for Larry will be held Friday, December 28, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home-Mobile, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, Alabama 36606.
