Mary Charlotte Knowles Head Wyatt ("Charlotte"), 88, of Mobile, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2026. Charlotte was born in Dothan, Alabama, and was raised in Ozark, Alabama. She attended Troy University before marrying Frank Curenton Head, Sr. As the wife of an Air Force serviceman, she embraced the opportunities and challenges of military life, making homes in several places before eventually settling in Mobile. Charlotte was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and a faithful member of Luke 4:18 Fellowship Church. Her faith was the foundation of her life and gave her the strength and grace that sustained her through every season. She found great joy in spending time with her family, whom she dearly loved and treasured. She also enjoyed fishing, traveling, tending flowers, and creating beautiful floral arrangements. Charlotte will be remembered as a woman who was both refined and adventurous, whose strength, laughter, creativity, and enduring faith touched the lives of those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Head Parnell (Lindsey); her son, Frank Curenton Head, Jr. (Nancy); her sister, Linda Knowles Shaver; her grandchildren, Matthew Miller Jones (Amanda), Benjamin Lindsey Parnell, III (Natalie), Travis Michael Jones (Rebecca), Alicia Charlotte Parnell, Frank Curenton Head, III, William Judson Head, Madilyn Mariah Head, and Charlotte Dean Head; twelve beloved great-grandchildren; and many cherished cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Frank Curenton Head, Sr. and Gene Alton Wyatt, Sr.; her parents, William Cecil Knowles, Sr. and Mary Alice Knowles; her beloved daughter, Cecilia Head Jones; and her brother, William Cecil "Bill" Knowles, Jr. The family is grateful for the prayers, love, and support shown during this time. While Charlotte's presence will be deeply missed, her legacy of faith, love, and devotion to family will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
