Nellie Jean Taylor Darley went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 17, 2019. She was 88 years old. She was born August 11, 1930 in Silas, AL to William and Laura Ivey Taylor. She was united in marriage to JT Darley on October 21, 1948. She spent her life as a wife and mother devoted to being the best homemaker she could be. Her family was the most important people in her life. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 58 years; two infant sons, one grandson Jonathan Darley; four brothers Buford Taylor, Horace Taylor, Pete Taylor, and Willie Taylor. She is survived by two sons Jack Darley(Barbara) of Comanche, TX; Larry Darley of Eight Mile, AL; three grandsons, Benjamin Darley of Conway, AR; Christopher Darley of Abu Dabi, United Arab Emirates; and Justin Darley of Eight Mile, AL. Survivors also include two sisters Ami LeeMiles of North Carolina, and Maxine DeFord of Pensacola, FL. She leaves behind 7 great grandchildren and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be from Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 10am - 11am with funeral service at 11am. Interment will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Benjamin Darley, Christopher Darley, Justin Darley, Brent Taylor, Donnie Rowell, and Luke Darley.

A chapel service will be held a11am on Thursday, 03/21/2019 from Radney's Funeral Home in Saraland, followed by a committal service at the grave site.
