Sandy Irene Broadus Guest was born in Oakland, California April 12, 1948, to the parents of Walter and Ruth Helen Broadus. She graduated from Murphy High School in 1967. Sandy leaves behind her husband of 43 years, Thomas R. Guest; her three children, Kimberly Wiggins, Ginger Balthaser and James L. Ward, Jr.; Seven Grandchildren, Morgan Johnson, Kristian Calvert, Alyssa Wiggins, James L. Ward III, Trey Lorr, Bryce Balthaser, and Ryanne Balthaser; Five Great-Grandchildren, Kylee Johnson, Sage Youpee, Kamryn Calvert, Cathryn Calvert, and Layla Wiggins; she also leaves behind a brother, Jerry Broadus, and a sister Bobbie Kinard. Sandy was an amazing wife, a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; most importantly she was a child of God. She truly loved everyone she met, and you knew it by the way she made you feel, that was just who she was. Her absence will be forever felt but her memory will last forever.

A visitation will be held July 25, 2026 at Solid Rock Church of God starting at 10:00am. The funeral service would follow at 12pm. The interment will take place at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 6100 Three Notch Rd, Mobile AL 36619.
