Charlotte Ann Harris

A graveside memorial service for Charlotte Ann Harris will be held in the cemetery at 12:00 PMĀ  on Monday, September 19, 2016. Family and friends will meet at the Three Notch Rd entrance and drive to the burial site together.

Charlotte, age 71, went to her Heavenly home surrounded by her loving family and friends on Friday, September 9, 2016. She was a native of Tylertown, Mississippi and a resident of Hammond. Charlotte attended Livingston University of AL and was president of her sorority, Delta Chi Omega. She was a member of Phi Delta Kappa Honor Society, the Order of Eastern Star, and L.H.S.A.A. During her time at Southeastern Louisiana University she attained her Masters + 30 degree. Charlotte was a teacher, coach, principal, assistant principal in Tangipahoa Parish for 37 years. She was a devout member of Woodland Park Baptist Church where she was a member of the Friendship Class. Charlotte was a dedicated and compassionate woman who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Charlotte is survived by her twin sister and best friend, Barbara Nan Harris; sister, Carol Ann Hennis; brothers, Walter Earl Harris and wife Faye; and Ralph Sharp Harris; 8 nieces and nephews; 19 great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Lois Harris.
