Thelma Lee Smith Whittington, a native of Cement, OK and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Wednesday, March 13, 2019. During her 92 years, she was wife, mother, granny, sister and friend. Mom dearly loved her family, her flower gardens, a good hamburger and was an avid Alabama football fan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; three brothers and three sisters. Her survivors include her daughters, Joyce (Steve) Brown and Carolyn (Sammy) Langley; her sister, Winnie Mae Noel; grandsons, Scott Brown and Damian and Clayton Langley; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 18, 2019, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens

A chapel service will be held at 2pm on Monday, 03/18/2019 from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, followed by a committal service at the grave site.
