Wayne Hill - Mobile Memorial Gardens

Wayne Mallison Hill, 92 was called to heaven on Thursday, February 14, 2019. He was born in Thomaston, AL. on November 4, 1926 and was a resident of Eight Mile for 30 years and Mobile for 30 years. Wayne was a member of Moffett Road Baptist Church and Myers Memorial Baptist Church for many years. He retired from Scott Paper Company in 1987 after 40 years of service. He was a founding member of Scott Credit Union. Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Merle Hill; sons, Michael Hill and Bruce Hill; parents, Henry and Dessie Hill; brothers, Herbert and Lee Hill and a sister, Dallas Wallace. Surviving are his sisters, Daphne Hare and Bobbie Millar; grandchildren, Bryan Hill and Faith (Roberto) Quinones; great grandchildren, Britney (Justin) Welch, Marleigh Hill, Maranda Hill, Conner Hill and Krystina Quinones; great great granddaughter, Dorothy Welch. also, survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a special Thank You, to the staff of W.F. Green State Veterans Home for the kindness and care that was shown during his stay.  Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, Mobile, AL on Monday, February 18, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a service following in the Chapel at noon.
