Lloyd Simpson - Mobile Memorial Gardens

Lloyd Young Simpson, a native of Decatur and longtime resident of Theodore, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the age of 82. Mr. Simpson was a dedicated member of Good Shepherd Church, the Country Music Association, and the Gulf Coast Opry. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jennifer Lynn Simpson, his sister, Marlene Simpson Bell, and his parents. Survivors include one brother, Lamar Simpson of Mobile, AL, two daughters, Vonda Lynn Simpson of Mobile, AL and Jessica Haynes of Mobile, AL, one son, Keith Haynes, of Ypsilanti, MI, one granddaughter, Kali Haynes of Theodore, AL, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Good Shepherd Church, 5851 Plantation Road, Theodore, AL.
