William Crabtree - Mobile Memorial Gardens

William Edward (Bill) “Willie” Crabtree, Jr., passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Diane Crabtree, parents, William E. Crabtree, Sr. and Mary Jane Bonham Crabtree and brother, Robert Gregory “Buddy” Crabtree. Bill worked many years in Mobile County in Industrial Supply Sales. He was a member of two mystic societies in the Mobile and Baldwin Counties, and held membership in one for over 49 years, serving as president several times. Willie officiated for numerous flag football teams and played on many softball teams. He was a member of the Alabama High School Athletic Association for many years. He is survived by his children; Kellie Jones (Darryl), Jarrett Joseph Crabtree (Lindsey) and Jessica Elise Crabtree. He is also survived by his siblings; Linda Marie Crabtree, Paula Ann Fox, Milo Joseph Crabtree (Donna), Timothy Tyrone Crabtree (Shelley Case), Candace Veronica Crabtree, William E. Crabtree, III, grandchildren, Erin Marie Jones, Emma Elise Jones, Bryn Bagley Jones, Wayne Weaver Jones, IV “Dubs”, nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. Visitation will be held at St. Matthew Catholic Church on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with interment in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be offered to the American Cancer Society, 1110 Montlimar Drive, #420, Mobile, AL 36609.
