Glenda Faye Adcox Dillard, a native of York, AL and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at the age of 81. Glenda was a retired nurse; was a longtime active member of Dauphin Way Baptist Church; loved to cook, read and spend quality time with her grandchildren and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Leon Adcox and Inell Skinner Adcox, and her brother, William Adcox. Her survivors include her husband of 37 years, William Timothy Dillard; her daughter, Cheryl J. Luther Redding; one son, Robert Darrell (Lisa) Luther; two brothers, Jerry Adcox and Larry (Sue) Adcox; two sisters, Patricia Ann (Terry) Wade and Mary Catherine Fairly; five grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Graveside services, officiated by Rev. Glen Davis, and interment will be held Friday, May 17, 2019 at 12:00 in Mobile Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 11:00 AM until service time.
