Mary S. Pierce, age 94, of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2019. Mary was born October 16, 1924 in Mobile, Alabama to Mary Hicks Stauter and James Stauter.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Jane Pierce; son, Tony Pierce; grandchildren, Adele, Jonathan, and Jena; and great-grandchild, Zoe.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Edward A. Pierce; daughter, Jacqueline Pierce; father, James Stauter; mother, Mary Hicks Stauter; sisters, Helen Stauter and Margaret Fillingam; and brothers, James Stauter and Leo Stauter.
A visitation for Mary will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at St Pius X Catholic Church, 217 S Sage Ave, Mobile, Alabama 36606. A mass of christian burial will occur Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens, 6100 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, Alabama 36619.
