Pamela Ann Burton Walker was born on May 8, 1946 and went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 9, 2019, joining the love of her life, her husband of 37 years, John Edwin Walker. Pam was bigger than life; blessed with a joyful contagious spirit; and was happiest serving others by cooking for family, her many friends and neighbors. She loved her home and enjoyed working in her yard and using her creative abilities doing various crafts. She was always doing things to keep herself busy. She and her late husband owned and operated Greater Mobile Plumbing Supply, a successful plumbing company. She was currently working part-time for Paul Williams at Northern Gulf, Inc. Her survivors include her three step-children, Mark Walker, Nannette Hasselle and Janet Gray (Mark); many grandchildren, Tasha Turner (Jared), Zachary Edwards (Shela), Crystal Gray, Rick Hasselle Jr. (Claire), Jason Hasselle (Emily); great-grandchildren, JJ Rhine, Masen Rhine, Huston Edwards, Lydia Veazey, Devon McDonald, Khristian McDonald, Jaiden Edwards, Beau Hasselle, Tripp Hasselle, Makenna Hasselle, Sapphire Gray, Brody Turner and Blade Turner; and many many friends from her childhood who remained steadfast all their lives. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; her father, James T. Burton; mother, Dola Mae Crenshaw Burton; husband, John Edwin Walker, and son-in-law, Rick Hasselle, Sr. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will begin Wednesday morning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
