Our beloved daughter, Laura, passed away unexpectedly at 34, on February 25, 2020. She was born in Mobile, Alabama on January 8, 1986 to Warren and Kathy Nicholson. Laura graduated from St. Paul's Episcopal School, continuing her education she graduated from The University of Alabama with honors, and then earned the degree of Doctor of Physical Therapy from The University of St. Augustine.
Laura had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul. She was a kind, loving, and compassionate person; caring deeply for her family, friends, and patients. She was an avid Alabama football fan and had the privilege of being on the football field in 2008 as a student athletic trainer. The defensive line fondly nicknamed her "little mama". Laura loved snowboarding, fishing, sports, music, playing board games with family, watching movies wrapped up tight in her big crocheted blanket, and had a passion for cooking She had a wonderful sense of humor and was quick to crack a joke. She had the most beautiful blue eyes and caring heart. Her presence in our lives will be deeply missed beyond words. She will be in our hearts forever.
She leaves behind her parents, Warren and Kathy, her brother, David, grandmother, Mary Louise Nicholson, many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her precious dog, Winnie, whom she loved immensely.
