Mildred “Jackie” Stanley Hardee, 72, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021 in the loving arms of her devoted children, grandchildren and her brother at her home. She was received in heaven by her baby boy; David Cazzie Smith. She was born Sunday, August 29, 1948 in Laurel, Mississippi. She was raised in Crichton and Eight Mile, Alabama, and finally resided in Saraland, Alabama. Her life was her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and never about her. She touched many lives during her time on earth. She was very compassionate, fun and there was never a dull moment around her. She was a great listener as well. She didn’t meet a stranger, she spoke her mind and she loved to read 1800 Century History. She was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church and she was very fond of Father John and Lois Hakanson. She loved attending Mass and other activities at Little Flower. She loved watching movies and her favorite T.V. series was Dr. Pol. She was very proud of her youngest son; “David Cazzie Smith” who was KIA in Afghanistan, June 9, 2010 and has mourned his death since. She was a firecracker to say the least. She is preceded in death by her parents: Jack and Ida Mae Stanley, husband; George Melvin Hardee, Her youngest son: David Cazzie Smith and granddaughter Courtney Moorer. She leaves to cherish her memories to her children: Randell “Randy” (Tabitha) Dunn, Rondall “Todd” (Jennifer) Smith, Tracey (Chris) Taylor, Jamie (Jeremy) Watson, her brother; Richard “Kenny” (Anne) Stanley and her grandchildren: Ryan and Kalie Dunn, Justin and Jason Moorer, Haleigh and John Smith, Adrian and Raina Tapia, Zachary Patten, Sean and Parker-David Cazzie Watson, her great grandchildren: Jada, Jaden, Nate, Neveah, Genesis, Oaklyn, Olive, Alaina, Cazzie, Jasmine, Rylee, Trey, Kaden and Annsliegh, her nephews: Richard II, Russell, and Joel Stanley, along with extended family members, many wonderful friends, she was a mother to Manalitto “Tito” Dixon, a sister to Anita Patel and Kim Balthasar, along with her two fur babies: Ida Mae and Georgia. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 30, 2021 at Little Flower Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Little Flower Catholic Church with a procession to Mobile Memorial Gardens, where Jackie shall lay beside her son and parents.
