Eunice Catherine Woods Luna, a native of Pell City, Alabama and a long-time resident of Mobile, Alabama, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, August 19, 2021. Mrs. Luna was employed by Brookley Field and after 25 years retired from the Civil Service. She was also a member of Ashland Place Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey Fountain Woods and Mamie Clara Bamberg Woods. Her survivors include her two sons: Robert Eugene Combs of Gerogetown, Texas and William Russell Combs Jr. of Mobile, Alabama; five grandchildren, William Russell Combs III of Mobile, AL, Julie Anne (John) Romanos on Mobile, AL, Russell Daniel (Lynda) Combs of Mobile, AL, Shelley Diane (Vincent) Mulhern, and Jason Robert (Amy) Combs of Mt. Laurel, NJ; seven great-grandchildren: Abigail Combs, John Michael Romanos, Elizabeth Nicole Romanos, Mary Catherine Combs, Matthew Blake Combs, Evelyn Ruth Combs and Clare Megan Mulhern.
January 31, 1925 ~ August 19, 2021 (age 96)
