Mr. Monroe "Gene" Caraway, age 87, passed away September 16, 2021 in the comfort of his home. He loved his family, church family, and community.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Christine (Paul) Craig and Sara (Harold) Sullivan; brother-in-law, Bennie Wayne Holliman.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 59 years, Norma Atchison Caraway; children Alan (Kim) Caraway and Jennie Caraway (Chris) Berry; siblings, Carolyn (Guy) Stough, Marguerite (Bruce) Hamner, Jimmy (Judy) Caraway, Ann (Joe) Waldrop, Julia Holliman; grandchildren, Alan Kyle Caraway, Christopher Allen Berry, Chandler Monroe Caraway, Lauren Rebekah Berry, Oliver Truman Berry; Many loving nieces and nephews.

Services will be Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 10am to 12 noon service. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
