Billie Hugh Price, 91, of Birmingham, AL, but formerly of Mobile, AL, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021, at Rocky Ridge Independent Living in Birmingham, AL. The funeral will be Saturday, November 13, 2021, at 2 pm at Mobile Memory Gardens Chapel with Brother Terry Charlton officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery, Mobile Memorial Gardens. A Randolph County native of the Forrester' Chapel Community in Wadley, Billie was born June 1, 1930, to Mitchell Guy and Mae Burrow Price. He was a graduate of Wadley High School and studied electrical engineering at Auburn University before entering the Army. He worked for Mosler Inc. which was a passion of his. He was a member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church in Mobile, AL. He loved life, was a fantastic story-teller and had a great sense of humor. He was loved by all for his kind, compassionate, and helpful spirit. He will be greatly missed. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Jean (Fore), daughters Nicole (Darren) Jackson of Birmingham, Teresa (Cole) Baker of Fairhope, Toni Arnold of Mobile, Alecia Nicole Price of Mobile, four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, one sister, Jane (Ernest) Brodie of St. Augustine, FL and one sister-in-law Delores Price of Gautier, MS. He is preceded in death by his two sisters and spouses Agnes (Seldon) Green and Mavis (Vennon) Johnson and one brother Jimmy Price.
