Mary is survived by her beloved husband Frank T. Coate, and children, Michael J. Rogers, Lee Anne Rogers Greene (Ronnie), Mary Rogers Walters (Micah), Tammy Coate Lee (Donald), David Coate (Marie). She is also survived by her two sisters-in-law, Margaret Pouncey, Anne Coate, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mary worked at Gayfers for 25 years where she loved serving her customers. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church for over 53 years and served on the Parish council and Ladies Auxiliary.

The family will receive friends at St. Thomas in Chickasaw at 10:00 a.m on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, with Rosary at 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
