Margaret “Gete” Anne Holley Paulus, 69, was born July 3, 1952, in Mobile, Alabama to the late Albert A. and Regina Crane Holley. She was called to her Heavenly home surrounded by her loving family on January 30, 2022, in Mobile, Alabama. Margaret was a dedicated employee for Providence/Ascension Health for over thirty years and was honored with the Vincentian Award. Margaret completed her career traveling around the country as a dynamic traveling trainer for Ascension Health Project Symphony, known as the “Dream Team”. She graduated from Toolen High School in 1970. Margaret was a member of Pathway Church and Harvest Church. She was very involved with small groups and her church family. Margaret loved game nights with family and friends. Spending many days at the ballpark, Margaret was her children’s and grandchildren’s biggest cheerleader. To know her was to know her contagious laugh. Margaret would light up any room she entered.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Joseph Eugene Paulus; two brothers: Albert A. Holley, James Andrew Crane Holley (Yvonne), one sister, Christine “Chrissie” Holley Elders; and one brother-in-law, David Naylor.
Left to cherish Margaret’s beautiful memories will be her five children: Peter Elliott Paulus, Melanie Anne Paulus Fountain (Jeremy), Melissa Ellen Paulus Bee (Darius), Mary Elizabeth Paulus, Margaret Yvonne Paulus, a special nephew, Andrew Holley; five grandchildren: Avriana Elyse Paulus, Mia Victoria Johnson, William Sidney Agnew, Jr., Justice Tristian Paulus, Mary Mariah Bee; great niece, Livianne Holley; great nephew, Eli Holley; four sisters: Mary Ellen Naylor, Regina Mallini, Sr. Becky Holley, Cathy Schwartz; her childhood best friend, Bridgette Connolly; along with many extended family members and a number of wonderful friends.
Honoring Margaret as pallbearers will be Andrew Holley, Justice Paulus, William Agnew, Robby Naylor, Jud Mallini, and Jeremy Parrillo.

The family will be receiving guests for visitation on Wednesday, 2/2/2022 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, Alabama, 36606. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, 2/3/2022 at Harvest Church, 1275 E. Interstate 65 Service Road S., Mobile, Alabama 36606. Interment will immediately follow on the grounds of Mobile Memorial Gardens, 6100 Three Notch Road, Mobile, Alabama 36619.
