Baby Raylon passed away gently in his parents' loving arms at the USA Children's and Women's Hospital in Mobile, Al. Raylon was born early at 23 weeks and 1 day, weighing only 1 lbs. 7 oz. Raylon was able to grip his parents' fingers and respond to their loving voices during his time in the NICU. Raylon brought so much joy to his family. He was born on Christmas at 8:59 a.m. and passed on January 30, 2022 at 3:53 a.m. The Angels came and carried Raylon peacefully and safely in the presence of the Lord.
Raylon is survived by his loving and devoted parents, Markel and Shavonne Chaney; his brother, Rashaun Chaney; his sisters Shanais Chaney and Suniya Chaney; his grandparents, Raymond Jr. and Serenta Chaney; and his grandmother, Paulette Chaney; his uncles, Ken Chaney, Raymond Chaney III, and Steve Chaney; his aunt, Sequayah Chaney (Jamie Williams); 13 first cousins, great grandparents, and a host of family and friends who loved him dearly.

A graveside service will take place at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on February 9, 2022. Visiting hours will be 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.
