Joyce Thompson Langston, "Mama" and "Grandma", age 89, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. She was born in Mobile, Alabama on August 30, 1932. Joyce was a believer and follower of Jesus Christ and attended Dauphin Way Baptist Church where she was a member of the "Esther" Sunday school class. She loved all things pink and all things sweet, and of course loved Alabama Football, Roll Tide! She enjoyed travelling and went on several cruises. She could also really cut a rug on the dance floor! Joyce was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Eldon H. Thompson. Her legacy will live on in her four children, Debbie Stringer (Walter) of American Fork, UT; Don Thompson (Lynda) of Mobile, AL; Terri Phillips (Doug) of Spanish Fort, AL; and Darrin Thompson of Theodore, AL. She was blessed with nine grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Joyce was known for being a sweet lady and will truly be missed by all of her family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, March 8th at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM-11:00AM prior to the service. Graveside service will follow immediately at Mobile Memorial Gardens, 6100 Three Notch Rd. Mobile, AL.
