Iva P. Johnson, age 101, was born on July 24, 1920 in Winston County, Mississippi to Thomas Clark and Mary Penelope Patterson.
She was an active and loyal member of Dauphin Way Baptist Church since 1957. With a life-long intellectual curiosity, Iva was a charter member of Odyssey USA and was recognized as having one of the longest continuous memberships in that organization. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Earl Brewer Johnson, daughter, Betty Dale Steadman, five brothers and two sisters. She will be remembered for her kind and gentle spirit and the Christian values which touched and influenced countless friends throughout her lifetime.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her son, Wayne Johnson, numerous nieces, nephews, attentive neighbors and friends.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery beginning at 12 Noon. Dr. Don Taylor will officiate.
