Mrs. Hurd was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church and the Lebanese – American Club of Mobile, She was a loving mother, grandmother and great great grandmother.
Mrs. Hurd was preceded in death by her Husband, Albert William “Bubba” Hurd, Jr.; her parents, Butrus Pete Mahfouz and Mary Darawich Mahfouz; three sisters, Adeline Cassady, Gloria Mahfouz and Patricia Bentley and a brother, Faze Mahfouz.
Surviving are her loving and devoted children, daughters, Brenda Hurd Loewen (Christopher) and Mary Hurd Taylor (Ben); son, Albert William “Billy” Hurd., III. (Jean); grandchildren, Chad Burns, Gina Hurd, Whitney Duffy (Bradley), Will Hurd (Mallory), Thomas Carpenter, Michael Hurd, Jeffery Hall and Jarrod Hall; great grandchildren, Justice Hurd, Damon Hall, Lincoln Hall, Natalie Davis, Cooper Duffy and Nora Kate Hurd; great great granddaughter, Riley Hurd; sister, Catherine Boyd; dedicated niece, Gwen Johnson Markow and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
The family wishes to give heartfelt thanks to Kindred Hospice nurses: Pegi, Valarie, Nina and Allison and her social worker, Leigh.

Visitation for Mrs. Hurd will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Mobile, Alabama, Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of Radney Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens, Mobile, Alabama.
