Todd Peyton Norris was born in Mobile, Alabama on November 8, 1966. He was raised in Semmes, Alabama and graduated from Mary G. Montgomery High School. He lived most of his life in the Mobile area but did reside in both Mechanicsville, Virginia and Cleveland, Tennessee. He spent most of his career working at Mitternight Boiler Works.
Todd is survived by his parents Cynthia Knapp and Jack Norris; four children Andrew (Courntney) Norris of Belleville, Illinois, Amber Norris of Mechanicsville, Virginia, Maggie and Melanie Norris of Cleveland, Tennessee; eight grandchildren Melaina, Aubreana, Drew, Griffin, Wyrna, Gavin, and Grant Norris, and Ashton Berry.
Todd is also survived by one sister Christi (Buddy) Turner, close uncle Paul (Anita) Norris, and many other uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends including his special friend Rochelle Poole. Todd is known for his love of the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, but he loved to fish. He spent many hours out on the water with his father fishing for that record-breaking bream.
One of Todd's most endearing qualities is that he never met a stranger. It was important to him to treat everyone as a good friend. He was kind-hearted and willing to help anyone in need.
