Ozie Lee "Pat" Patterson, 92, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022, in Monteagle, Tennessee. He was born on Tuesday, May 6, 1930, in Fairfax, Alabama to the late Benjamin "Ben" Franklin and Lois "Gwen" Crenshaw Patterson. Pat served this grateful nation by enlisting with the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He worked for Federal Aviation Agency and the Department Of Defense as an electronic engineer. Pat was active with South Alabama Veteran's Council and the Disabled Veterans chapter. He served as a church deacon in several churches. Pat loved deer and dove hunting and fishing with his sons and grandsons, working in his yard and simply socializing with people.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Forrest Patterson; and a sister, Geneva Patterson Draper.
Left to cherish Pat's wonderful memories will be his beloved wife, Macie Davis Patterson; two sons: Barry Patterson, Brain Patterson, two grandsons: Ross Patterson, Davis Patterson; one great-grandson, Fisher Patterson; along with many extended family members and numerous wonderful friends.
Honoring Pat as pallbearers will be David Sharpe, David Neutze, Ken Busby, Johnny Williams, Sydney Draper, and Dennon McMillan.
