Joseph Lee Bosarge Jr., entered the Kingdom of Heaven on October 7, 2022. Born December 8, 1933 to Anne and Joseph Lee Bosarge Sr., he was the proud big brother of 2 sisters, Mary and Betty. After graduating from McGill High School he served in the United States Navy as a hospital corpsman. Upon his return from service he graduated from Springhill College where he met his wife of 58 years, Albernita (Punnie) Straub. His wife and his children were his main priorities in life along with the Catholic Church that he belonged to. He loved Mobile’s Mardi Gras serving as President of the Order of Inca, and volunteered at the Mobile Mardi Gras Museum. He is survived by his children: Joseph Lee Bosarge III (Della), Laurie Rel (Javier), and Michael Bosarge (Tanya). His Grandchildren: Brian Shores (Haley), Ashton Rel, Stefan Rel (Rebecca), Christine Benton (James), Jeremy Bosarge, and Vivian Bosarge. His Great Grandchildren: Caitlyn Shores, Luke Shores, and Wyatt Benton. Dad (Paw Paw) your kindness and love will be greatly missed. Go in Peace.

Visitation will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church on Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
