Charles Lewis Graham entered into the natural world on April 12, 1945 and departed to be in the presence of the Lord, February 25, 2023. (2 Cor. 5:8) "And we are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord."
He was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Alfreda Graham; son, Charles Lewis Graham, Jr.; daughter, LaTinjya T. Dixon-Davis; parents, Mr. Jewitt & Mrs. Ruth Graham; sisters, Patricia Lawson, Mrs. Essie Martin, Mrs. Murlene Davis, Mrs. Jeanette Wheerler, Mrs. Stella Graham, Mrs. Mary Griffin, Mrs. Ann Parker and brother, Nathaniel Graham.
He leaves his cherish memories upon five loving and devoted children, Orlanda Graham, Wanda (Joseph) Isabelle, Yolanda Graham, Deborah Brown, and Ahmani Graham; sister, Ruth Graham; sister-in-law, Mary Poellnitz, Ella Mae Rankin; brother-in-law, Don Parker and Lawrence (Carolyn) Rankin; many nieces and nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren as well as a vast number of family and friends.
He was also a faithful devoted leader and servant of the Lord at Church of Life in Prichard, AL, choir member, and member of the Gulf City Lodge #14 in Mobile, AL. He shared his wisdom, mercy, understanding, and above all his love but sometimes a song too. His voice and presence will be missed but not forgotten by all who has walked with in his journey.
