Loretta Anne Lundy Campbell, 85, a life-long resident of the Dawes Community of Mobile, Alabama, passed away on May 12, 2023. Born on January 3, 1938, she was the daughter of Hardy and Leta Lundy, the sister of Laverne Lundy and Gene Lundy and the mother of Mary Elizabeth Campbell, who predeceased her in death.
She is survived by her Husband, the Reverend Don Campbell, to whom she was married for 66 years. She is also survived by her two sons, Steve Campbell and wife Angela and Andrew Campbell. Her Grandchildren are Meghan Vanosdol and Husband Michael and Rachel Beatty and Husband Joseph. she has two Great Grandsons, Mason and Blake Vanosdol. She is also survived by one sister-in-law, Priscilla Coid, and many nephews, nieces and cousins.
Loretta Campbell was a loving Pastor's wife who always supported her husband's Ministry. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother, caring for the needs of her family selflessly her entire life. She loved to cook and clean and in her younger years, she loved to use a riding lawnmower (or a tractor and bush-hog) to cut the grass in their pecan orchard. She also never met a stranger. She had a smile and warm greeting for everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

A visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church of Tillman's Corner on Saturday, May 20th from 10 am to 12 pm and a funeral service will be held at 12 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Annie Armstrong Missions Fund at First Baptist Tillman's Corner.
She was one fine steel magnolia with class to spare!
