It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy Morgan Wilson, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Nancy departed from this world on July 17, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and cherished memories.
Nancy was born on April 25, 1956, in Mobile, Alabama, to Max Welton Morgan, Sr. and Dorothy Henriksen Morgan. Nancy lived the entirety of her life in Mobile.
She met the love of her life, Ben Wilson, and they were married on October 1, 1977. The two of them embarked on a beautiful journey filled with love, laughter, and shared experiences. Their bond was resilient, and they supported each other through the highs and lows of life. Tragically, Ben's passing in 2006 left Nancy with a profound sense of loss, but she carried his memory in her heart with unwavering love.
She dedicated her career to the Mobile Housing Board, where she served as a manager for many years. Her commitment, expertise, and compassionate approach made her an invaluable asset to the organization. Her memory will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of working alongside her.
One of Nancy's greatest joys in life was being a grandmother (GiGi). Her granddaughter, Olivia, was the light of her life. Nancy delighted in Olivia’s laughter, embraced her hugs, and showered her with boundless love.
Nancy was predeceased by her parents, Max Welton Morgan, Sr. and Dorothy Henriksen Morgan, her husband, William Benjamin Wilson, and her brother, Max Welton Morgan, Jr.
Left to cherish her memories are son, Bryan Joseph Wilson and wife Emily, and granddaughter, Olivia Sue Wilson.
As we bid farewell to Nancy Morgan Wilson, let us strive to remember the moments of connection and love that were present throughout her life. May we find solace in the memories that bring us comfort. May she rest in peace, and may her loved ones find healing and understanding in the days ahead. Your support and gestures of remembrance during this difficult time are deeply appreciated by her family.
If you would like to honor Nancy's memory by supporting Olivia's educational journey, you may donate at PNC Bank where Nancy established a college fund for Olivia, account ending in 9778, or if you prefer to celebrate Nancy's life through a floral tribute, the family welcomes your thoughtful gesture.
