Julius Edward French January 9, 1933 - August 13, 2023   Julius Edward French (Honey) passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at the age of 90. Julius was a lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama.   Julius was the son of Bennie Wallace French, Sr (deceased) and Mary Louise Garrett French (deceased). He was one of six siblings including Bennie Wallace French, Jr (deceased), Henry Bruce French (deceased), Mary Louise French Reynolds, Virginia Ann French Isham (Arthur), and Nancy Elizabeth French Eastman.   He was married to the love of his life, Julia Jean Coleman French on August 7, 1964 until her passing in October of 2020. He is survived by his children, Thomas McLain Greer (Ellen), Eva Jeanne Wilson, Charles Thomas French, Laurie French Haas (John), eight grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.   Julius was a 1950 Murphy High School graduate and member of the marching band. He served with distinction in the United States Navy during the Korean War Era. He returned to Mobile and opened T and F Tractor Company in Theodore, Alabama. Never one to sit still, he became an auctioneer, a corporate pilot and a flight instructor. He was also an avid fisherman and golfer. He enjoyed many days on the beautiful waters of Fowl River. He was also a man of strong faith and a member of the Theodore United Methodist Church for over 50 years.
