David John Cannon, age 64, a resident of Talladega, Alabama, and a longtime resident of St. Elmo, Alabama passed away on August 11, 2023, at the FCI Talladega. He was born in Pascagoula, Mississippi on August 2, 1959, to Josephine and John C. Cannon, Jr. He was a big Alabama football fan, an avid hunter and fisherman. He also worked for International Paper, Moss Point for 19 years and was a truck driver.
He is survived by; his parents, Josephine and John C. Cannon, Jr.; 2 daughters, Lacey Cannon Crigler (Trey) of Irvington, Alabama, and Briana Haak (Greg) of Poynette, Wisconsin; a brother, Mike Cannon (Johnnie) of St. Elmo, Alabama; nephew, Sheldon Cannon; niece, Mandalyn Cannon of St. Elmo, Alabama; 5 grandchildren, Payton, Hadley, Cale, Kenley, Trevor and one on the way; a host of Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 26, 2023, from 11:00- 12 am, and following will be the service at Noon in the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery
