Billie Wade Colburn - wonderful husband, father, brother, and friend, a 76 year-old native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and a resident of Saraland, Alabama passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023. Mr. Colburn was a proud Vietnam veteran of the United States Army and retired as a welder from Warrior and Gulf Navigation after 20 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Estelle Ray Colburn; wife, Geraldine Maddox Colburn; and daughter, Martha Colburn. Mr. Colburn is survived by his daughter, Christy Carmody (Chris Lang); grandchildren, Ricky Ramos (Emmy), Jacob Carmody, Taylon Carmody, and Anna Carmody; great-granddaughter, Isabella Ramos; sister, Joyce Richardson; brother, Grover Colburn (Lois); other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 p.m. until the service hour.
