Carolyn Clark Warren, 75, a devoted wife, loving mother, sister and friend to all, passed away on November 1, 2023, in Mobile, Alabama. Carolyn was born on May 26, 1948, in Mobile, Alabama to her parents Helen Toton Clark and Robert William Clark, Sr.
Carolyn married the love of her life, Dwight D. “Dave” Warren on December 14, 1968. They resided in Mobile, Alabama and built a beautiful life together. Carolyn and Dave would have celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary this December.
Carolyn’s loving, giving and warm nature made everyone feel at ease and made everyone feel special and loved. She had a huge heart and genuinely loved others. Carolyn would seek out the good in everyone and treated everyone with love and respect. Her legacy of love and goodwill for others will live on in the lives of her family and friends.
Carolyn was small in stature but had an extra large heart and ability to help others. She had several family favorite nicknames throughout her life, such as Shorty, Karaoke Carol, Little Carol Dickens and Strawboss, her most fitting nickname.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Helen Toton Clark and Robert William Clark, Sr., her sister Onis Clark and brother Robert William Clark, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Dave Warren, her children April Garron (David) and David Warren (Amanda), four sisters, Stephanie Kudulis (Kenny), Karen Porter (Ray), Susan Coulson (William) and Diane Clark, three brothers, Bill Clark (Rita), Harvey Clark and Frank Clark (Cathy).
Carolyn was primary caregiver for her mother, Helen who passed away in 2019 and was serving as primary care giver to her brother Harvey, until she passed away.
There are also many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends that will miss her smile, love and kindness.

Services will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home located at 6040 Three Notch Road, Mobile, Alabama 36619. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 7, 2023, from 10:30 to 12:00, with chapel service at 12noon.
