It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Rose Marie Byers Bentley. Rose Marie was a beloved sister, mother, and nana who passed away too soon and will be dearly missed. Rose died on December 25th, 2023 in Theodore Alabama. The family will hold a service on January 5th, 2024 at Mobile Memorial Garden. The visitation will be at eleven am and the funeral at twelve pm.
Rose Marie was born on May 26th, 1971, In Okaloosa County, Florida. She was the first born to her parents Pinky Elizabeth Hicks and Ernest John Byers. Rose was the oldest of her parents' three children. She leaves behind two siblings her brother Ernest Byers and her sister Elisa Kelly. She also leaves behind her four children and eleven soon-to-be twelve grandchildren. Rose had two daughters and two sons. Her oldest was Savannah Bentley, then Colan Bentley (Cassie), followed by Amber Bentley Cardona (Willy), and finally her youngest Ricky Hoeft (Cassie). She was known as Nana to her grandchildren: Josilyn Bentley, Alexander Lopez, Jaylen Bentley, Jakelyn Bentley, Jaxton Bentley, Carsyn Bentley, Cacelyn Bentley, Noe Cardona, Nally Cardona, Tucker Hoeft, Mary-Kate Hoeft, and Dawsyn Bentley.
Rose loved her family and loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. Rose loved to help her children with their children. She often could be found going out with family. They would spend time together by going out to eat, or shopping, but also could be found at home relaxing while watching movies. When the opportunity arose she loved to listen to music and sometimes even enjoyed a dance or two.
She was someone who loved to help others when possible. She loved God. As we say goodbye to Rose we can find some peace that in her passing, she will be reunited with her mother Pinky, and her grandson Carsyn in Heaven thanks to their belief in the Lord Jesus Christ. Rose's passing leaves behind a great void but her memory will live on. We cherish the memories and the love she gave. We know that those things do not pass away they stay with us living on in our hearts.

Rose was a wonderful woman and a loving cousin I loved her so much we had lots of wonderful times together and she is going to truly be missed. I still can't believe she is gone 😢 💔 but I will never forget my beautiful cousin and the wonderful woman and friend and mother she was. I love you rose rest in peace!!
