Catherine "Cathy" Anne Hawkins, age 74, died of complications from congestive heart failure on February 23, 2024, in Mobile, Alabama. Cathy is preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Hawkins and father, Ben Hawkins Sr. Survivors include her loving siblings Suzanne Seals, Ben Hawkins Jr. (BJ), and Roxanne Donaldson (Steve), her nephew Anthony Seals, her nieces Elizabeth Alston (Tyler), Bethany Brewer (Jesse), and her great niece and nephews Ava Alston, Alex Alston, and Jack Brewer, all of Mobile, Alabama. Cathy was born on March 19, 1949 in Mobile, Alabama to parents, Margaret and Ben Hawkins. She was the oldest of four children. She was a proud big sister and aunt, who loved her family with all of her heart. Cathy worked in retail for many years in stores such as Woolco, Dollar General, and Family Dollar. She was also an enthusiastic Alabama Crimson Tide fan, who loved to cheer on her team for every game/match in every sport! Cathy was an extremely selfless and giving person who would give you her last dollar if you needed it.

Visitation will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Thursday, February 29, 2024. Funeral will begin at 12:00 pm with graveside service immediately following.
