Charles "Chuck" Eugene Carroll - an 87 year-old resident of Saraland passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and retired from Scott Paper Company after many years of service as a mechanic. Mr. Carroll was an avid hunter and loved his family above all else.
Mr. Carroll was preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Jean Carroll; son-in-law, Jerry "Bebo" Graham; granddaughters, Lisa Ann Hicks and Laura Ann Hicks; and his sister Pat. He is survived by his beloved wife, Eloise Carroll; daughter, Carol Harris (Josh), granddaughter, Jami Weaver (Marcus), and great-granddaughter, Blakelin Weaver; children, Calvin McRaney (Lesley), Pam Ward (JW), and Rhonda Hicks (Mike); grandchildren, Ashley Flora, Lindsay Sorenson, Kristen Mixon (Caleb), Katie Webster (Travis), Kellie Sullivan (Ty), Sonnie Greenwell (Drew), Hunter Hicks (Courtney), and Connor Harris; great-grandchildren, Savannah, Connor, Riley, James, Jack, Caiden, Nora, Emma, Maverick, Hollis, and Camden; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held from Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
