Richard Hamilton Sutton was born October 21, 1942.
He was called home Friday May 24,2024.
He is survived by daughter Jessica Bosarge (Darren Bowden); grandson Cory Sutton; granddaughter Devin Bosarge; nephews Chris Greene (April) and Jeff Vice.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother Mr. And Mrs Jesse H. Sutton; his beloved wife of 46 years, Frankie P. Sutton; his only son, Dale H. Sutton; his only sister, Patricia Greene; his brother in law, "Buddy" Greene; his nephew, Travis H. Greene.
Upon graduation from Murphy High school, he joined his father, Jesse Sutton in the family business. He was a hard worker and continued to work until he was 81.
Richard was a member of the Mystic of Stripers Mardi Gras organization for several years.
He enjoyed hunting in the winter and spending time at the family beach house in the summer.
Richard was strong willed and stubborn at times, but he also had an enormous heart, especially when it came to his two grand babies, Cory and Devin. They filled his heart with immeasurable joy.
He was full of love for those who went before him, as well as those he left behind.
He will be missed dearly by all that knew him.

Visitation will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Thursday May 30, 2024 at 1:00 PM, funeral service 2:00 PM, with graveside service at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery immediately following.
